A creative services marketplace — not a generic store
A Fiverr / Upwork–style multi-vendor marketplace built for creatives — freelancers list services, clients hire, and the platform runs the engagement in between.

The Outsource Studio is a services marketplace, not a product store. Think Fiverr or Upwork, specialised for creatives: designers, makers, and freelancers publish offerings; clients browse, hire, and manage work through the platform. Developera built that multi-vendor system — profiles, gigs, orders, and the operator layer a creative marketplace needs.
The challenge
Creative hiring is a people-and-services market. Clients need to discover freelancers, compare packages, and place orders for work — not buy physical SKUs. Creatives need seller profiles, service listings, and a way to deliver without running the whole business from DMs. Generic ecommerce plugins and broad freelance clones miss the creative positioning; The Outsource Studio needed a purpose-built multi-vendor services marketplace.
Approach
Mapped client, creative (vendor), and operator journeys like a freelance platform
Built creative profiles and service/gig listings instead of a product-only catalog
Designed order and engagement flow for services work, not warehouse fulfilment
Gave operators tools for vendor quality, disputes, and marketplace health
Kept discovery and trust signals front-and-centre for a Fiverr / Upwork–style experience
Fiverr / Upwork for creatives
The Outsource Studio sits in the same product family as Fiverr and Upwork: two sides, many vendors, paid services. The difference is focus — creatives and creative work, not every possible freelance category. That focus shaped how we designed profiles, listings, and browsing so the marketplace feels built for studios and makers, not a generic job board.
What the multi-vendor system includes
Creators onboard as vendors, publish service offerings, and manage orders from a seller dashboard. Clients search, hire, and track work from the buyer side. Operators approve talent, watch quality, and keep the marketplace trustworthy as volume grows.
The “catalog” is creative services and people — packages, portfolios, and reputation — not a shelf of physical goods. Orders are engagements, not shipments.
Built to grow the talent pool
Architecture assumes more freelancers, more categories of creative work, and more edge cases — not a demo with three dummy sellers. Roles, listings, and order boundaries stay explicit so The Outsource Studio can scale without rewriting the core.
